role Purpose

Develop and monitor IT business strategy plans adhering to corporate requirements and ensure all IT function KPIs are met as per OLNG business objectives. Evaluate the ongoing IT projects and suggest budget allocation.  Lead and ensure the closure all audit action points for IT function.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) Master Plan to identify and solve the business' most critical information and technological challenges
  2. Develop and monitor short term and long term IT business strategy ensuring alignment with OLNG business requirements
  3. Perform the periodic appraisals of IM&T Master Plan based on pre decided metrics and in coordination with the business custodians and the project management team
  4. Review and appraise the implementation of IT business strategy to OLNG leadership. Highlight bottlenecks to ensure smooth implementation of action points with regard to IT strategy
  5. Ensure that the proposed IT business strategy meets OLNG corporate KPIs
  6. Evaluate the services and projects towards business objectives and keep a track of budget for services and projects implementation.
  7. Lead the management of change process for IT business strategy and revise the plans to adapt to changing IT scenario in Oil and Gas Industry.
  8. Ensure that the change management process complies with ITIL processes, procedures, tasks and checklists so that the IT services are aligned with needs of the business
  9. Manage the corporate scorecard for IT function and support all departments to meet the goals as per corporate plan.
  10. Benchmark emerging IT technology, applications and trends and suggest inclusion of relevant improvements in IT business strategy
  11. Prepare reports on the status of ongoing projects and support in the allocation of budget for various services and projects.
  12. Assist and contribute towards maintenance of relevant procedure and work instructions

  13. Utilize the training and learning opportunities provided by the organization to develop competencies in specialist areas and work towards self-development

  1. Diverse and in-depth knowledge across all facets of Information Management & Technology as well as OLNG businesses and their requirements.

    2- Awareness of emerging technology road-maps and trends in the market place

Qualifications AND EXPERIENCE

1- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Management & Technology related field of study

2- Minimum 5 years of experience preferable professional certification in project management or IT governance.
