Major Maintenance Planner- Sur Based

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Produce detailed schedules for major maintenance activities like Process Trains turnaround, equipment shutdown and major maintenance activities, within the approved schedule and budget and in accordance with complex HSE policy and procedures.
  2. Produce and maintain assigned activity detailed work packs
  3. Progress and maintain the schedule for assigned work activities.
  4. Responsible for development of T/A facilities and logistics plans
  5. Compile, arrange and track the status of all required resources (materials, labour and equipment) needed for activities.
  6. Develop an accurate cost estimates for the major maintenance and turnaround activities.
  7. Ensure development of environmental plan (e.g. Waste disposal, vac trucks…etc) for assigned activities
  8. Contribute to Lessons Learned and Look back processes.
  9. Continue to look for opportunities to reduce turnaround scope, and plan and execute with low cost mindset

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in a related Engineering Discipline with minimum 8 years of experience in the Chemical, Oil or Gas Industry as a discipline engineer, of which 3 years must have been in planning and scheduling
  2. Preferably able to show a minimum of 2 to 3 years involvement and commitment to Reliability Centred Maintenance Techniques
  3. Must be able to interpret and decide on information outside of his discipline background from experienced specialists within sections.
  4. Mastery in the use of Computerised Maintenance System (CMMS) and Planning tools (Primavera)
